Fallen Crystal Tears

 

   Selene took you to a staircase that seem to glitter with different shades of colors. It looked impossible to see exactly which colors the staircase consisted of as it stretched up and and beyond the clouds. Looking into the distance, you could see that it went far beyond the stars... 

     This is the rainbow staircase where it leads up to the gateway of the vixneas. Now that I've told you the history of the vixneas, it's time I tell you about all the different types of vixneas as we climb these stairs. No two vixneas look alike in color, shape, or size. Many may resemble a fox, unicorn, dog or rabbit but they are not them. A vixni is a combo of the past ancient creatures. Vixneas only mate during the week of the full moon (please visit the mating meadows). There are two different classes of vixneas, the rare ones and the common ones. Rarer ones are less often to come out of the Stardust Valley, they might be obtainable only through a certain way.

Vixneas in the order of common to semi-rare:

Fluff - Vixneas of peace and tranquiliy. Colors can include purples, violets, indigos...A fluff vixni is more among the lines of cute and adorable looking, they love being pet,hugged, and cuddled with.

Leaf - Vixneas of earth and flower. Colors can include greens, browns, tans..etc. Some may have flower patterns and designs, most in this type are sentimental vixneas.

Flame - Vixneas of fire and heat. Colors can include reds, oranges, yellows...so on. Known for their boldness and stunning beauty, they like to take chances and leap into action.

Raindrop - Vixneas of water and ice. Colors can include blues, aquas,greens... Vixneas of this type have a smooth personality. They like to go with the flow of things and tend to be a bit carefree. Simplicity is most important to them as they don't like to complicate or dramatize matters.

Light - Vixneas of day and healing. Colors can include golds, peaches, yellows...Considered semi-rare, a vixni of this type is known to be generous and supportive. A light vixni is semi-rare, they appear only a couple of times during sunrise.

Dark - Semi rare but rarer then light, vixneas of night and adventure. Colors can include blacks and reds..(or black with any other color). Within dark there are two subgroups, demonic and celestial. A vixni of this sort can be more rowdy and active. They come out after sunset and especially during full moons. Some may have star or celestial patterns. Others might have a more ominous or evil look to them.

Mystic - Vixneas of wind and magic, top type out of the commons and semi-rares. Colors can include silvers, grays, light blues...Their background is mostly unknown due to their secretive personality and mysterious ways. They are the most powerful in magic then any other type of vixneas

   

     Rare vixneas are found through the moon angel Selena. You must contact Selena if you wish for a rarer vixni. She will only allow you to have a rarer vixni IF (and only if) you already have 3 vixneas in your care (this does not apply to the love vixni) or if you're lucky enough, you may receive a rare when you adopt a vixni. Another way to obtain a rare vixni is through trade: if you have your own critter that you think Selena would like to care for, you may request trade with her. Talk to Selena here.

Rare Vixneas in order from least rare to extremely rare:

Baby - Small, tiny and unbearably CUTE! These small vixneas are only available when two vixneas mate. (see mating meadows please). Colors depend on parents as do the traits.

Love - A vixni that symbolizes love, friendship, and family. Colors can include pinks, orchids, magentas, rose...etc. You may only obtain a love vixni if your vixni finds a mate. The caretakers of the mating pair will each recieve a love vixni. For more information please visit the Mating Meadows. Love vixneas are well..lovable! ^^ No need to caontact Selena about love vixneas. It's an automatic given for vixneas that mate.

Colored - Similar to a complete vixni except vixneas in this type don't have mutations or jewelry. (Caretakers can only describe their vixni's pose and fur color). You may create a personality to go with your vixni if you wish.

Moonlight - Vixni of elegance and manner. They are graceful in everything they do. Any color and can include flamed wings, fairy wings, angel wings, (wings in general) celestial patterns, jewelry, glow or markings.

Mutation - They are eccentric and akward. They're also known as the outcasted type. Vixneas in this type come in any color and can include multiple tails, wings, or different type of tails (horse tail, dog tail...), hooves instead of paws, mane, fox ears, etc).

*Complete - This is the rarest type. Vixneas born of this type take on the appearance that the caretaker wishes it to. You give Selena a description of what you want your vixni to look like. Head to tail, any coloring, any design, can include any type mentioned here. Basically, you create your own type of preferred vixni. Anything you want... =)
